These Terms govern participation in the Optimus Labs affiliate programme. By submitting an application you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by them. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer, which continue to apply.
1. Eligibility and application
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- All applications are reviewed manually. We may approve or decline any application at our sole discretion and are not obliged to give a reason.
- Approval is personal to you. Accounts, referral links, and discount codes may not be sold, shared, or transferred.
- You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership, agency, or a joint venture between you and Optimus Labs.
2. Commission
- Commission is 10% of the eligible goods value of a qualifying order, excluding shipping and VAT.
- A qualifying order is a completed, paid, and non-refunded order placed through your referral link within 30 days of the customer’s visit, or through your assigned discount code.
- Commission is earned on a customer’s first qualifying order.
- Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually paid. Where an order attracts our bulk pricing, your discount code does not apply on top of it. The customer receives whichever saving is greater, never both.
- Bacteriostatic Water is excluded from both the customer discount and affiliate commission. In a mixed order, commission is calculated only on the eligible goods value.
- The minimum payout threshold is £25. Balances below the threshold roll over.
- Payouts are made monthly, on or around the 15th, for commission confirmed in the previous month.
- Commission on an order that is later refunded, charged back, or cancelled is reversed, and may be deducted from a future payout.
- You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on commission you receive. We do not withhold tax on your behalf.
3. Promotion: what you may do
- Place referral links and your discount code on websites, newsletters, videos, podcasts, and social accounts that you own or control.
- Use the product images, product names, and approved copy we supply in the affiliate materials pack.
- Describe our products factually: name, sequence, purity, quantity, batch testing, price, shipping.
4. Promotion: what you must not do
This section exists because your published claims become our regulatory exposure under UK medicines and advertising rules. Breaches are the one thing we terminate for without warning.
- No health, medical, dosing, or results claims. You must not state or imply that our products treat, prevent, cure, or improve any condition, nor describe them as suitable for human or veterinary use, nor suggest doses, protocols, cycles, or administration methods.
- No before and after content, testimonials describing personal use, or physique, performance, or recovery outcomes attributed to our products.
- All products are supplied strictly for laboratory research use. Your content must not contradict that.
- No paid search on our brand. You must not bid on “Optimus Labs”, “optimuslabs”, or close variants and misspellings in any paid search or paid social platform, and must not use our brand in a display URL.
- No self-referral. You may not use your own link or code for your own orders, or those of your household.
- No posting your discount code to coupon, voucher, cashback, or deal aggregator sites. Your code is for your own audience.
- No unsolicited bulk email, comment spam, forum spam, or automated traffic.
- No sites containing illegal, adult, or hateful material.
- No representing yourself as Optimus Labs, registering domains or social handles containing our brand, or creating content that could be mistaken for an official channel.
- No cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, redirects, or any technique that records a referral without a genuine click.
5. Disclosure and links
- You must clearly disclose that you earn commission, in a form and place the audience will see before engaging with the link. On social platforms use the platform’s paid partnership tooling where available, plus clear wording such as “affiliate link”.
- This is a legal requirement under UK advertising rules, not a courtesy.
- Text links must carry
rel="sponsored".
6. Territory and audience
The programme is aimed at a UK audience. You may hold an audience elsewhere, but you are responsible for ensuring your promotion complies with the law of any territory you target, and we may decline applications whose audience we cannot support.
7. Suspension, termination, and clawback
- Either party may leave the programme at any time, for any reason, with written notice.
- We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for any breach of section 4, for suspected fraudulent referrals, or where your content creates legal or regulatory risk for us.
- On termination for breach we may withhold unpaid commission and reclaim commission already paid on affected orders.
- We may spot-check your published content at any time. On request you must remove or correct non-compliant content promptly.
8. Changes and general
- We may change these Terms, the commission rate, or the programme structure. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you at your registered email address, and apply to orders placed after that date.
- We may end the programme entirely on 30 days’ notice, and will pay commission properly earned before it closes.
- We do not guarantee any level of traffic, conversion, or earnings.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the programme is limited to the commission properly owed to you at the time the claim arises.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
9. Your data
We process the details you give at application, and your referral and payout records, to run the programme. This is covered by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties beyond our payment providers.
